Yes! The Boss’ are still alive.

I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything of any value, and that’s not about to change with this post.

I’ve posted a couple of new videos over on our YouTube channel, so be sure to check those out. No holiday vids yet, but they’ll be coming soon.

The holiday parties are now past, and we’re left with just the photos and heart burn to prove it. Christmas shopping was very low key for us this year, which was a real blessing. The kids gift list can be easily summarized:

  • 1 Fleece blanket
  • 1 Water bottle
  • 1 Book

And you know what, that was enough. They were happy with everything they got, and they’ll get a lot of use out of each item. With six kids in the house, we did not want to add any more toys to the craziness. We have enough, thank you very much. We feel incredibly lucky just to be able to tuck our little ones into nice warm beds every night, cover them with warm blankets, and feed them again in the morning.

No, not a very commercial holiday for us, and for that we are very thankful. Here’s a quick snapshot of Will. Happy Holidays!

Just in case

Here’s something I noticed when entering a new dependent into Turbo Tax. Will was born in April, so I clicked on a question mark to explain what they meant when it asked how many months of the year the dependent had lived with us. Here’s part of the explanation…

Wow. Those folks over at the IRS have to account for EVERY possibility, don’t they. Can you imagine the conversations that go on over there?

“Well, I don’t know…if the kid got nabbed in February, they really shouldn’t be able to claim him for the whole year, should they?”

I wonder if the psycho that has the kid locked in the root cellar gets to claim him in that case.
